The world's largest Floating Production Storage & Offloading platform (FPSO) was fully refitted at Dalian Shipbuilding Industry and launched smoothly.
 
FPSO is also known as "offshore oil factories", which connect subsea oil wells and drilling platforms to realize crude oil input, processing, storage and output.
 
This marine giant is refitted from a VLCC supertanker, and its natural gas production is the largest offshore oil refining platform in the world.

It is the first project in the world that the hull reconstruction and module construction are undertaken by the same shipyard.
 
It is also the first FPSO reconstruction project with the highest integrity that is directly sent to the oilfield after delivery in China.
