On April 23, the first ship of IMO Ⅱ chemical tanker project of Shandong Shipping Corporation was successfully completed and delivered.
 
"SOLAR SALLY", the first ship of the project, will soon set sail to provide global oil product transportation services for Dutch Shell Group.
 
At the same time as the delivery of "SOLAR SALLY", Shandong Shipping also signed a letter of intent with Jiangsu New Times Shipbuilding for the construction of 10 50,000 dwt IMO Ⅱ chemical tankers , which further consolidated Shandong Shipping's leading position in the international oil tanker market
 
In recent years, Shandong Shipping continues to maintain the first place in terms of the VLGC transportation fleet in China, while the scale of chemical tankers shipping capacity has rapidly increased to the third place in China.
 
With a length of 183.23 meters, a width of 32.2 meters, a depth of 19.1 meters and a structural draft of 13.3 meters, the 50,000 dwt chemical tanker has reached the world's leading level in terms of energy saving and safety performance indicators.
 
This type of ship can not only carry 20 different kinds of chemicals at the same time, but also use the most advanced MarineLINE 784 paint, which is comparable with all stainless steel ships.
