On April 17, 2021, Huadian Heavy Industries, Shanghai Boqiang and CIMC Raffles held the signing ceremony of "3060 Series Offshore Wind Power Installation Platform" in Yantai.
The "3060 Series Offshore Wind Power Installation Platform Project" includes 1+N high-end offshore wind power installation vessels, and will gradually launch a number of high-end offshore wind power installation vessels suitable for all kinds of complex sea conditions around the world.
The signing ceremony also confirmed the entry into force of the first deepwater offshore wind power installation platform of Series 3060, which has entered the formal design and construction phase.
It will be delivered in the first quarter of 2023, with priority for domestic offshore wind power construction and installation.
The platform is independently designed and built by CIMC Raffles. The key equipment adopts international first-class brands.
