China's coal prices increase slightly over Oct 12-18 sxcoal 2020-10-21 11:17


Coal prices picked up slightly last week (October 12-18) in China, according to the Ministry of Commerce.
 
Thermal coal prices rose 1.1% to 576 yuan/t, and prices of #2 anthracite lump coal ticked up 0.7% to 917 yuan/t. Coking coal prices gained 0.5% to 763 yuan/t.
 
Steel prices also rose marginally in the week. The prices of rebar amounted to 3,901 yuan/t, up 0.5%. High-speed wire rod prices edged up 0.4% to 4,056 yuan/t. Channel steel prices climbed up 0.1% to 4,034 yuan/t, and prices of common medium plates were 4,168 yuan/t, slightly up 0.1%.
