Following its successful provision of logistics services from 2018 to 2020, COSCO SHIPPING Project Logistics, a subsidiary of COSCO SHIPPING, has recently renewed cooperation contract with Harbin Hafei Airbus Composite Manufacturing Centre Co., Ltd. (HMC). The two sides formally signed a three-year package logistics service contract from 2021 to 2023, which covers the complete closed-loop logistics chain from raw materials import to finished products export, involving 11 countries and regions and more than 50 overseas pick-up points.
Since the establishment of HMC in 2009, COSCO SHIPPING Project Logistics has acted as a trusted logistics services partner, closely cooperating over the years. This year, particularly under the impact of COVID-19, major liner companies and airlines suspended shipping services and flights. The borders of many countries where HMC’s finished products are delivered were closed, which enormously increased pressure on logistics. Always putting customers first, COSCO SHIPPING Project Logistics made no over-delivery of import and export goods through either air or sea transportation. The company responded to the demand for transportation of large workpieces promptly and achieved all of its KPI targets, winning the customer’s recognition and trust.
COSCO SHIPPING Project Logistics will take the new contract as an opportunity to further strengthen intensive management and control, as well as professional support and product-based service capabilities; optimize customized total logistics solutions for air materials; and actively adopt advanced concepts to continuously improve and optimize operational processes, raise management levels, and strengthen service capabilities to ensure the smooth operation of subsequent projects.
