Five ships loaded and unloaded nearly 27,000 teu at Yantian Port.
On May 26,as "MARGRETHE MAERSK" docked at berth 9 of Yantian international container terminal,a scene of five ultra-large container ships operating at the same time appeared in Yantian port area.
Each of the five vessels is about 400 meters long, which are respectively "CMA CGM KERGUELEN", " ISABELLA MSC", "MONACO MAERSK", "MSC JADE" and "MARGRETHE MAERSK".
It is the first time in China that five 200,000-ton ships berthed in the same port area at the same time.
In order to welcome 5 super large container ships to dock at the same time,Yantian Port made careful planning in advance to ensure the safe docking of the ships.
