At the Two Sessions this year, Group Chairman Li Jianhong,  member of the CPPCC National Committee, brought a proposal on "the establishment of a new type of collaborative integration mechanism to accelerate the construction of a powerful transportation country". Li Jianhong said that the construction of a robust transportation country is a massive systematic project and requires the active participation of all parties involved. This year is the first year of the comprehensive implementation of the Outline on Building China's Strength in Transportation. It is therefore necessary to accelerate the construction of a new type of coordinated and integrated mechanism for the construction of a powerful transportation country. The proposal focuses on the Outline, confronts the emergency response shortcomings exposed by the COVID-19 and closely addresses the need to improve resource utilization efficiency and improve the industry's governance capacity.

Li Jianhong's proposal has attracted widespread media coverage including the Economic Daily, Science and Technology Daily, China Business Journal, CPPCC Magazine, Chinese Financial News, China Securities Journal, Yicai Global, National Business Daily, and Information Times.
