OOCL cancels transpacific sailings as demand falls in slack season xinde marine news 2020-02-20 10:26


Hong Kong's Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL), now a Cosco unit, has announced a number of cancelled transpacific sailings in response to low demand in addition to those voided in the February 14 customer advisory.
 
In the Pacific China Central 2 (PCC2) service that rotates through Shanghai, Ningbo, Long Beach, Seattle and Lianyungang, the March 20 Shanghai sailing will be voided.
 
In the Pacific China South 1 (PCS1) service that rotates through Fuqing, Nansha, Hong Kong, Yantian, Xiamen, Los Angeles, Oakland and Fuqing, the March 1 Fuqing sailing will be voided.
 
In the Pacific China South 2 (PCS2) service that rotates through Taipei, Xiamen, Shekou, Yantian, Los Angeles, Oakland and Taipei, the March 9, March 23 and the April 20 Taipei sailings will be voided.
 
In the Pacific North West 4 (PNW4) service that rotates through Hong Kong, Yantian, Ningbo, Shanghai, Prince Rupert, Vancouver and Hong Kong, the March 10 Hong Kong sailing will be voided.
 
In the Pacific East Coast Express 2 (ECX2) service that rotates through Qingdao, Ningbo, Shanghai, Busan, New York, Norfolk, Savannah and Qingdao, the March 1 Qingdao sailing will be voided.
 
In the Pacific East Coast China 2 (ECC2) service that rotates through Qingdao, Ningbo, Shanghai, Busan, Colon, Savannah, Charleston, Boston, New York, Colon and Qingdao, the February 25 Qingdao sailing will be voided.
 
In the Pacific Gulf Coast China 2 (GCC2) service that rotates through Shanghai, Ningbo, Xiamen, Yantian, Houston, Mobile, Tampa and Shanghai, the February 24 Shanghai sailing will be voided.
