2.Freight rates for supertankers on the Mideast Gulf and U.S. Gulf routes to Asia have fallen to their lowest since mid-September as the coronavirus outbreak hit Chinese oil demand

3.IMO Published Circular Letter No.4204 - Novel Coronavirus (2019-Ncov) (Secretariat) to provide information and guidance, based on recommendations developed by WHO.

4.On a brutal morning at the markets, almost $370bn in market capitalisation was wiped off the benchmark Shanghai Composite index in the first day’s trading since the Lunar New Year holidays and the effects of the spreading coronavirus.

5.The Chinese authorities have installed TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS in the affected areas in China. Health measures, such as fever measurements are installed at Chinese airports, bus and train stations and at ports.
