1.China commissioned the CNS Shandong — its second aircraft carrier and the first such ship wholly designed and built domestically — on Tuesday afternoon at a naval base in Sanya, Hainan province.

2.With the delivery of the last Arc7 icebreaking LNG ship "Yakov Gakkel", all 15 icebreaking LNG ship fleets of the Russian Yamal LNG project have begun operation.

3.China looks set to receive its first shipment of Nigerian Bonny Light crude in two years.

4.Taiwan’s Wisdom Marine has contracted Onomichi Dockyard in Japan to build a 37,000 dwt bulk carrier. The ship will cost $24m, Wisdom stated in a public disclosure on its site.

5.China welcomes Sri Lanka's move to set up a working committee to review and accelerate the Colombo Port City project under the principles of mutual respect and benefit.
 
6.The hull of the floating production storage and offloading vessel (FPSO) "PETORBRAS 71" built by Yantai CIMC Raffles for Petrobras was completed and delivered.

7.Taiwan Navigation signed a construction contract for a 84100 dwt bulk carrier with Nippon Shipbuilding and Sasebo Heavy Industries, respectively.

8.On December 13th, the naming and delivery ceremony of the 114,000-ton new oil tanker "Yuanlian Bay" built by Guangzhou Shipyard International for COSCO SHIPPING Energy was held in Guangzhou.
