1.Shell Marine has signed a framework agreement with CCCC Dredging (Group) Co. Ltd of China to supply marine lubricants and provide technical services across the Chinese company’s fleet. 

2.French liquefied natural gas containment system specialist, GTT, signed a memorandum of understanding on LNG containment tech with the Chinese state-owned company Beijing Enterprises Group (BEG). 

3.China has developed a giant offshore wind turbine with a 210-meter rotor diameter, which will be put into production soon, according to the Science and Technology Bureau of Southwest China's Chongqing municipality.

4.China's polar icebreakers Xuelong (Snow Dragon) and Xuelong 2 met at the Port of Hobart in southern Australia on Thursday, the first time for two Chinese icebreakers to meet at a foreign harbor. 

5.Inventories of iron ore across Chinese ports declined by a smaller margin last week, as arrivals remained limited while demand weakened. 

6.On the afternoon of November 7, 2019, a delegation led by Ms. Dyalá Jiménez Figueres, Minister of Foreign Trade of Costa Rica visited COSCO SHIPPING headquarters in Shanghai.
 
7.China will likely hold annual coal imports at between 200 million and 300 million tons, according to the president of a top industry body, suggesting that the pace of shipments so far in 2019 could tail off in the last two months.
 
8.China's foreign trade registered stable growth in the first 10 months of this year with more opening-up measures to follow in the near future.
