CNPC continues buying spree in 2nd Shanghai import expo xinde marine news 2019-11-08 16:09


Oil & gas giant China National Petroleum Corp signed 21 contracts with 20 global suppliers in the second China International Import Expo in Shanghai. 
 
These suppliers include Kazakhstan Natural Gas Transport Company, Saudi Aramco, Kuwait National Petroleum Company, ABB, etc. 
 
The company's international business scale has been in the forefront among companies of this kind across the world, said CNPC's head Wang Yilin in an industry forum held on the sidelines of the expo. 
 
By end-2018, CNPC has taken part of 92 oil & gas projects in 34 countries, setting up five major cooperation areas of the Central Asia-Russia, the Middle East, Africa, the Americas and the Asia-Pacific and four strategic seaborne transport channels. 
 
The company achieved international oil & gas trade volume of 482 million tonnes last year, with sales revenue exceeding 1 billion yuan. 
 
In the 2018 expo, CNPC signed contracts with 23 global suppliers with total value over $29.2 million.
