1.Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic spoke highly of the cooperation with COSCO SHIPPING.

2.The SRS Forum held by Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) today around 200 attendees from shipping companies and other maritime entities based in Singapore.

3.China and France signed contracts totaling in $15bn during a visit by France’s President Emmanuel Macron to China including a contract to develop a LNG terminal and storage facility. 

4.Norway-based dry bulk shipping company 2020 Bulkers has taken delivery of Bulk Shanghai, the fourth of eight 208,000 dwt Newcastlemax newbuilds.

5.Oil & gas giant China National Petroleum Corp signed 21 contracts with 20 global suppliers in the second China International Import Expo in Shanghai. 

6.6.At 1310hrs today, the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) was informed that a fire broke out onboard the Panama-flagged tanker, HOYU.

7.Members whose ships call at ports in India or pass through Indian territorial waters should note that the Ministry of Shipping in India has imposed a ban on the use and disposal of single-use plastics.

8.On the morning of November 7, 2019, a delegation led by Ms.Bonnie Lowenthal, President of Board of Harbor Commissioners visited COSCO SHIPPING headquarters in Shanghai.
