1.Mr. Fu Gangfeng was appointed Director of the Board, President and Deputy Party Secretary of China COSCO SHIPPING Corporation Limited, and relieved from the post of Director, President and Deputy Party Secretary of China Merchants Group Limited.

2.CSSC Shanghai and CSSC Research Institute, two units of China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC), have entered into an agreement with investment companies Citic International and Shenzhen Baize to establish a joint venture

3.Taiwan-based TS Lines has inked a newbuilding contract with CSSC Guangzhou Huangpu Wenchong Shipbuilding for two plus two 2,700 teu boxships. 

4.Four are missing after the Glovis Shipping car carrier Golden Ray capsized and caught fire off Brunswick Georgia in the US.

5.China’s Cosco-managed Piraeus Port Authority (PPA) has increased its investment plans to attract more business lifting its original investment budget by some 27% to $896m.

6.London International Shipping Week 2019 (LISW19) got off to a flying start this morning as UK Government and industry opened trading at the London Stock Exchange (LSE).

7.On the afternoon of September 9, 2019, a delegation headed by Mr. Sauat Mynbayev, Chairman of the Board of JSC National Company Kazakhstan Railways, visited COSCO SHIPPING headquarters. 

8.Australia's Gladstone port posted a slump of 54.48% in coal exports to China compared with July's multi-year high, according to data from Gladstone Ports Corporation.
