ShipParts.com held the e-Procurement Seminar in Brazilian Offshore & Marine on August 8^th in Rio de Janeiro. The event brought together guest speakers from Bureau Veritas (BV), China Classification Society (CCS), Korea Marine Equipment Association (KOMEA), Ultramar and ShipParts.com team to address the optimization of online supply chain management, new offshore marine technologies and custom clearance procedures in Brazil to the local community of shipowners, shipyards and suppliers.

ShipParts.com is a professional online procurement platform dedicated to the marine and offshore industry specializing in spare parts and equipment.  The network includes more than 17,000 suppliers (i.e. manufacturers and distributors) from over 150 countries, serving more than 600 buyers from 43 countries.  Operating in Brazil for just one year, the Platform has been serving more than 200 vessels successfully. 

The seminar attracted over 60 members as shipowners, shipyards and suppliers who came from all around Brazil to network, spot new industry trends, and learn innovative solutions for e-Procurement.
