1.China saw an overall growth in cargo throughput at ports in the first half of 2019, according to official data released Sunday.
 
2.Chinese oil and gas company Jereh has been contracted to build 10 LNG fueling stations in Russia, which is believed to be the biggest order for LNG fueling within the Russian market till now. 
 
3.Iron ore futures in China were firmer in morning trade on July 26, supported by expectations that demand for the steelmaking input in the world's top steel producer will remain strong as the nation launches more infrastructure projects. 
 
4.Cosco-owned Orient Overseas Container Line has maintained momentum during the second quarter of 2019.Total box volumes for the second quarter of 2019, grew 4.6% compared with the same period last year to 1,768,848 teu, up from 1,691,538 teu a year previously. At the same time revenue surged 7.1% to US$1.566bn.
 
5.HONG Kong's Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL), now a Cosco unit, has announced Asia-Europe sailing cancellations over the next two months.In a statement, the shipping line said that "in response to the expected low demand in the market", it was withdrawing some of its Asia-Europe sailings.
 
6.Off the coast of Singapore, the world's largest ship refuelling centre, a bunker barge sidled next to the supertanker Pu Tuo San to fill the giant vessel with a new type of fuel that will meet global standards that start up in January.
 
7.Chinese company Hengtong Logistics has entered into a framework agreement with CIMC Raffles for the development of medium-small scale LNG carriers and LNG bunkering vessels.
 
8.China’s leading express delivery industry player SF Express announced that the company is entering into global shipping market and is to launch the full container load services from Mainland China/Hong Kong/Macau to USA.
