On 18 July 2019, Mr Zhao Yaoming, Minister of the Safety Supervision Department of China Merchants Group (CMG), went to Sinotrans Container Lines (Sinolines) for security inspection.
Mr Zhao Yaoming listened to the report of Sinolines on the conditions of safety production and the management of newly delivered ships to further understand operation details such as the safety production status and safety management regulations. He boarded the “Sinotrans Qingdao” at Waigaoqiao Phase V terminal for an inspection on the ship equipment conditions, the major equipment managements and the onboard safety system operations. He also had an exchange with the captain and crew.
