Chairman Xie Chunlin Attends Signing Ceremony on Strategic Cooperation of CMES and China Waterborne Transport Research Institute xinde marine news 2019-07-19 15:51


On 11 July 2019, Mr Xie Chunlin, Chairman of CMES, attended the signing ceremony held in Ningbo for the Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement between CMES and the China Waterborne Transport Research Institute (WTI). Mr Zhang Baoliang, Vice President of CMES, and Mr Zhu Jianhua, Deputy Director of WTI, signed the agreement.
 
The agreement is destined to promote the sharing of advantages and resources and the collaboration in innovative development, through regular exchanges and learning in technological innovation, project consultation, service industry and technical exchanges. The creation of a strategic partnership of win-win cooperation and sustainable development will help CMES enhance its core competitiveness to become a world-class shipping enterprise. At the same time, the agreement aims to accelerate the establishment of high-end think tanks in the transportation industry by WTI, in efforts of building a world-class scientific research institution to serve the development of China’s maritime powers, transportation powers, shipping powers, the Yangtze River Economic Belt and the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road.
