China's import of natural gas hit a record high of 9.81 million tons in January, up 26.8 percent year on year, according to the latest data released by China's General Administration of Customs.
The import volume of natural gas reached 4.86 billion U.S. dollars, up 59.1 percent year on year, the data show.
