China: Seafarers no need COVID-19 test before arriving!

On December 8, the Ministry of Transport of the People's Republic of China released the latest prevention and control policy. The requirement of nucleic acid testing for personnel at ports other than high-risk posts has been changed from "nucleic acid testing twice a week with an interval of more than two days" to "strengthening personal protection and regular epidemic prevention management as required." If the territory has clear requirements for port epidemic prevention and control, the measures shall be implemented according to the territory." Port operation will no longer restrict the port operators on board and the seafarers enter the dock operation area. Ships are no longer required to provide seafarers' testing information before arriving, and people entering ports are no longer required to provide health codes or nucleic acid test within two days.
