China bans the transportation of highly toxic chemicals in the Shanghai section of the Yangtze River

Yangtze River Protection Law will come into force on March 1, 2021.
 
The law stipulates that it is banned to transport "highly toxic chemicals" and "other dangerous chemicals prohibited by the state from inland transportation" on the waters of the Yangtze River.
 
According to this article, "highly toxic chemicals" and "other dangerous chemicals prohibited by the state from inland transportation" are prohibited cargoes in the Yangtze River Basin.
 
The Shanghai section belongs to the main section of the Yangtze River. From March 1, 2021, the entry, exit, passing through, and transshipment of the above prohibited cargoes shall be banned, including bulk and package transportation by ships.
 
Starting from March 1, 2021, it is strictly banned for ships to carry highly toxic chemicals and other dangerous chemicals that are prohibited by the state to enter, exit, passing through, and transit the Shanghai section of the Yangtze River.
