Wan Min Resigns as Chairman of COSCO Shipping Holdings
COSCO Shipping Holdings announced the chairman Wan Min has resigned from the board, and the resignation has taken place with immediate effect on Jan 8, 2018.
The company explained there was no disagreement with the board or company, however, did not explain the reason of this decision.
However, after the resignation of Wan Min, the immediate successor was not named. According to the company’s "Regulation", the vice chairman of the company will perform his duties temporarily.
With over 20 years' expertise in shipping industry, Mr. Wan has rich experiences in container shipping and corporate management.
Mr. Wan Min was assigned to Hong Kong as the Chairman of China Travel Service (Holdings) Hong Kong Limited (HKCTS) on December 10, 2017.
