COSCO Delivered the All 3600 Series Container Ships for Maersk
On January 9, the 3600 TEU container ship (N694) built by Zhoushan COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry for Maersk Line successfully launched on No.2 slipway. N694 is the last one of all 3600 Series Container Ships built for Maersk.
The ship is 200 meters in length, 35.2 meters in width and 18.1 meters in depth. It is the last of the series of constructing container ships cooperated by Zhoushan COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry and shipping giant Denmark Maersk.
The smooth launching of the ship, showing Zhoushan COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry has entered an era of container ships serial construction. The first ship (N688) as a series of seven container ships will be delivered by the end of this month and the other five are under construction in full swing.
