The 109,500-ton Manganese Ore Ship Arrives at China’s Port
 
Sources from Xinde Marine News: Loaded with 109,500-ton manganese ore, BIRTE OLDENDORFF berthed at Qingdao Port, which is the first manganese ore ship arrives at port after Ningxia Tianyuan Logistics Group’s taking over shipping business.
 
It shows Qingdao Port and Tianyuan Logistics followed the “Belt and Road” Initiative.
And the vessel is 250 meters in length, 42 meters in width with draft of 15.2 meters.
 


Ningxia Tianyuan Logistics Group is the subsidiary of Ningxia Tianyuan Manganese Industry Group, it has a professional shipping team and a strong road and rail logistics system. It is an important part of Tianyuan Manganese Group's mining, trade, finance and smelting industries and helps to achieve the group's "Go Out" strategy.


 
Liu jun, the President of Ningxia Tianyuan Logistics Group said, “The group plans to consturct thirty 120,000-ton mini capsize bulk carriers to build a large-scale, modern, green, smart and efficient bulk carrier fleet.”
 
Qingdao Port is the seventh largest port in the world. Through the logistic system’s innovative breakthrough, the cooperation between Qingdao Port and Tianyuan Logistics will be promoted to a new level. It is estimated that Tianyuan Logistics will deliver 6 million-ton unloading cargo in Qingdao Port in 2018 and 9 million-ton by 2019, realizing the mutual benefits and win-win goal.
