1.COSCO SHIPPING Ports Limited today announced that the Company has signed official agreement with PSA Corporation Limited ("PSA") for the addition of two new berths at the COSCO-PSA Terminal ("COSCO PSA Terminal" or "CPT") in Boao, Hainan.
 
2.According to Regulation on data collection for energy consumption of vessels, applicable vessels calling at Chinese ports are to submit to the MSA the 'Data Report Format for Energy Consumption of Ships', and providing information on the last voyage, prior to their departure from the port.
 
3.China boasts Belt and Road achievements amid trade tension with US.The world’s second largest economy saw the total value of its trades with BRI countries increase to CNY 8.37trn ($1.24trn) last year, up 13.3% from the 2017 level, customs data showed.
 
4.US offshore vessel operator Seacor Marine Holdings has entered into agreements to acquire three platform supply vessels from Cosco Shipping Heavy Industry (Zhoushan), an affiliate yard of Cosco Shipping Group, for a total price of around $46m.Delivery of the vessels are expected in September 2019, January and April of 2020 respectively.
 
5.China’s Ningbo Maritime Court has announced that it will hold an auction to sell the 2001-built panamax bulker Primrose via online platform Taobao on February 13 at the request of the ship’s crews.
 
6.China's state-owned CNOOC is temporarily storing liquefied natural gas (LNG) in a tanker off South Korea as a warmer than usual winter cuts expected spot demand for the fuel, industry sources said on January 16. 
 
7.China Ocean Industry has announced that it has reached a preliminary agreement with an unnamed buyer for two of six unfinished vessels at its subsidiary yard, Jiangzhou Union Shipbuilding.
