1.In response to the fluctuating bunker prices and to reasonably compensate for our soaring bunker costs, COSCO SHIPPING Lines is going to introduce a Bunker Adjustment Surcharge from January 1st, 2019 aiming at truly reflecting the variations in bunker costs and facilitating our clients to calculate their logistics costs.
 
2.Swedish family-owned shipowner Rederi AB Donsötank has contracted two oil products and chemical tankers at Chinese Wuhu Shipyard Co. Ltd.The vessels will be delivered in 2021, the Gothenburg-based shipping company said in a press release.
 
3.According to Interfax Energy, Asian spot LNG prices fell by 5.81% the previous week, which was the sixth consecutive week of declines. Prices ended last week on $8.71/MMBtu, compared with $10.02/MMBtu for the equivalent week a year ago.
 
4.Hong Kong's container volume continued on its downward trend by falling 4 per cent in November to 1.68 million TEU compared to 1.76 million TEU in the same month last year, according to statistics from the Hong Kong Maritime and Port Board.

8.Huaneng Taicang port in eastern China's Jiangsu province is going to fine clients 1 yuan/t per day if the time period of their coal storage at port surpasses 60 days (starting from the second day after unloading is finished), the company said in a notice issued on December 10.
