1.China Ministry of Transport (MOT) issued a document of the domestic emission control area regulation from 1 January 2019 in the prescribed waters.
 
2.The Port of Shanghai's November container throughput fell 1.9 per cent year on year to 3.53 million TEU, according to figures from Shanghai International Port Group (SIPG).
 
3.Chinese imports of crude oil reached a new record during November, surpassing the record that was achieved set in October. Namely, China’s crude oil arrivals increased by 8.5% in comparison with the same period last year. This is the first time China imports more than 10 million bpd.
 
4.Mr Wang Hong, Executive Vice President of China Merchants Group (CMG) attended and named the new VLOC(“Ore Shanghai”) on the delivery and naming ceremony at the Taicang base of Jiangsu Yangzijiang Shipbuilding Group Ltd. 
 
5.Chinese research ship Haiyang Dizhi-9, or Ocean Geology No 9, returned to port in Qingdao, East China's Shandong province, on Friday.The vessel made the return after having completed a 258-day voyage.
 
6.A new mothership for China's manned submersible Jiaolong successfully took to water in the central city of Wuhan on Saturday.
 
7.China is now moving on a fast track to carry out reforms in domestic gas market, in a bid to satisfy the increasing demand.
 
8.BIMCO has published two sulphur content related bunker clauses which are now available on the BIMCO website and on SmartCon, BIMCO’s contract editing solution.
