Raffles Shipping orders six tankers at Wuchang Shipbuilding xinde marine news 2018-11-22 16:00


Singapore-based Raffles Shipping International has booked up to six 19,700-dwt tankers at China’s Wuchang Shipbuilding Industry Group.
 
The order is for two firm tankers and options for four sister ships. Financial details of the deal and delivery schedule were not disclosed.
 
The newbuildings will be classed by Bureau Veritas (BV) and fly the Singapore flag.
 
Wuchang Shipbuilding, subsidiary of China Shipbuilding Industry Corp (CSIC), said the new vessels will be built to optimise energy efficiency and satisfy the requirements of the EEDI.
