1.2018 International Ship Management and Technology Forum,which organized by Xinde Marine News and China Shipping Service(CNSS) will be held at Dalian Aulicare Hotel on 25th Oct.
 
2.Commenting on China's attempt to impose new and stricter sulphur rules,starting from next January,Mr.Xie,director of the Waterborne Transportation Research Institute at the Chinese Ministry of Transport said that it would be possible that China will ban open-loop scrubbers, as a way for vessels to comply in Chinese ECAs and coastal waters.
 
3.China published a white paper on Monday to clarify the facts about China-US economic and trade relations,demonstrate its stance on trade friction with the United States,and pursue reasonable solutions. 
 
4.China's COSCO Company started Saturday shipping the Egyptian pavilion for the China International Import Expo that will be held in Shanghai from Nov.5 to 10. 
 
5.The Hague-based LNG giant Shell has reportedly bagged a long-term deal to provide the chilled fuel for a power plant being built by the Chinese Sinolam LNG in Colon,Panama. 
 
6.China, the world’s second-largest importer of LNG, boosted its imports of the chilled fuel by 51.5% in August, according to the General Administration of Customs data.
 
7.Guangzhou Shipyard International Co Ltd signed a contract with Algeria's state-owned shipping company Algerie Ferries at the weekend to build a luxury roll-on/roll-off passenger ship in Guangdong's provincial capital.
 
8.China’s imported iron ore market fluctuated in a narrow range with stable quotations of traders today. According to some traders, partial steel mills will start replenishing before National Day holiday, which will shore up prices.
