Hong Kong-headquartered ship manager Fleet Management has expanded its footprint in Europe with its new Dutch subsidiary, NAESS Ship Management BV, on 18 September. Fleet Management has taken the initiative to better serve a growing European customer base.

Kishore Rajvanshy, managing director of Fleet Management: I am very pleased to announce the opening of our new office in Diemen – on the outskirts of Amsterdam. This venture is launched with a fleet of 13 vessels. With our offices in London and Cyprus we now operate three technical ship management centres in the region.”

Just two days later on 20 September, the company also revealed it had taken an additional floor at its office in Cyprus in order to accommodate its expanding operations on the island. The opening was attended by deputy minister of Shipping, Natasa Pilides.

The Deputy minister said the country is proud that such a great company has its presence in Nicosia. She also thanked Fleet for its ongoing contribution to the Cyprus economy, and hoped that Cyprus remains the company’s home for many years to come.

As of July 2018, Fleet Management manages a fleet of 465 vessels.
