1.Hong Kong-Taiwanese intra-Asia container line,TS Lines is set to issue an initial public offering (IPO) in Hong Kong.
 
2.China’s Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Company and DNV GL said on Wednesday that they signed a joint development project agreement to develop a new 23,000 TEU LNG-fuelled ultra large container vessel.
 
3.Norway-based Torgy LNG has signed a deal with China’s Cosco Shipping Heavy Industry to build a LNG tank mock-up as a pilot project.
 
4.OOCL said that its GHG Scope 3 reporting and verification had been expanded to include indirect emissions from business travel by air for employees of the Hong Kong office and from the company’s container terminals in Long Beach,USA and Kaohsiung in Taiwan.
 
5.Huangpu-Wenchong Shipyard (HPWS) announced that a 2,750 TEU feeder container ship for China Navigation will be the 200th DNV GL classified ship.

8.OOCL has swept up another award for its work in environmental sustainability.On 30 August, the company took the 2018 Singapore Environmental Achievement Award at a ceremony held by the Singapore Environment Council’s Conference Day.
