On August 22nd, COSCO Shipping's 7,000 CEU dual-fuel car ro-ro ship, equipped with SunRui's GasLink® marine LNG gas supply system (FGSS), returned from its trial voyage. Every aspect of the debugging process was successfully completed in a single attempt, marking the successful delivery of SunRui's first high-pressure FGSS.
The high-pressure FGSS provided by SunRui for this dual-fuel roll-on/roll-off (ro-ro) ship supports the simultaneous operation of one MAN B&W 6S60ME-C10.5-G1 high-pressure main engine and two Wärtsilä 8L20DF generators, with a gas supply capacity of 2,434 kg/h. SunRui independently completed the system, encompassing everything from conceptual design and skid process design to electrical control. The company verified the principles, equipment selection, and control logic using a simulation platform developed by the company during the design phase. Following real-ship testing, the discrepancy between the simulation results and the actual operating status of the equipment was less than 3%, further demonstrating SunRui's extensive experience in FGSS design.
During the debugging process, the on-site debugging team collaborated closely with the shipyard to efficiently complete the pre-filling debugging and alarm test projects. The tests for the main and auxiliary engine oil-to-gas conversions, along with related assessments such as sudden load changes and emergency stops under full load, were all successfully completed on the first attempt within two days. During the sea trial, the gas supply pressure for both the main and auxiliary engines remained stable, effectively accommodating various operating conditions throughout the trial, which garnered unanimous praise from both the shipyard and the shipowner.

SunRui's independently developed GasLink® FGSS was officially launched in 2020. With a strong foundation in technical expertise, SunRui has successfully addressed multiple core technologies, including system principle design, LNG storage tank design, cryogenic pipeline analysis, and system simulation verification. This has led to the development of various product lines for LNG low-pressure, high-pressure, self-pressurization, and external tank pump gas supply systems, all of which are compatible with different types of LNG-powered vessels. To date, SunRui has secured nearly 100 FGSS orders, consistently ranking among the top in the market.
Currently, SunRui's FGSS is experiencing a period of intense delivery, marked by a series of positive developments from various sites. The Wuhu 11.7K-DWT asphalt tanker project for Canadian shipowner McAsphalt has successfully returned from its trial voyage. Additionally, several PCTC ships from Guangzhou Shipyard are set to complete their trial voyages this month. Furthermore, multiple projects, including the large MSC 16000 TEU vessel, are being debugged systematically as planned and are expected to be delivered successively within the year. The successful delivery of these projects has significantly enhanced SunRui's project experience and design capabilities, establishing a robust foundation for ongoing product optimization and upgrades, while also contributing to a reduction in the supply cycle.
SunRui has long been dedicated to the global marine environmental protection initiative, adhering to an innovation-driven development strategy. The company has successfully developed a range of products, including a ship ballast water management system, a ship exhaust gas desulfurization system, a ship exhaust gas cleaning system, an LNG fuel gas supply system, a methanol fuel supply system, an ammonia fuel supply system, and a CO2 capture and storage system. Additionally, it has established a service network that spans over 30 countries and more than 100 ports worldwide, providing customers with high-quality products and efficient services, thereby earning a strong reputation in the global high-end ship equipment market. Looking ahead, SunRui will continue to enhance research and development of new products and upgrade existing offerings, making ongoing contributions to global green navigation.
