招商局集团海洋工程技术中心一直致力于海洋工程装备的研发和制造，拥有独立的设计研发团队，具备基本设计、详细设计和生产设计能力。通过全球招聘，招揽全球优秀海工人才集聚南通，研发中心目前已从美国、新加坡、韩国等地区招聘40余人，技术中心设计人员总数突破800人。
