Shandong Marine Group inks partnership with OSM Thome

In their ten-day rounds to Israel, Netherlands, and Norway, the Shandong Marine Group, spearheaded by Vice Governor Mr. Chen Ping, hosted a Shadong-Norway business meeting and visited relevant departments and enterprises to foster meaningful collaborations.

On September 13, 2023, Shandong Marine Group Deputy General Manager Yu Bing, together with OSM Thome CEO Finn Amund Norbye, signed a letter of intent to partner with maritime powerhouse OSM Thome in Stavanger, Norway, to work together on business areas such as new building supervision services, ship tech management, crew management, and compliance management services in the context of green shipping.

OSM Thome is currently the world's first comprehensive ship management company and takes pride in its rich experience in ship management. Shandong Marine Group will further improve its ship management ability with the help of OSM Thome's expertise and world-class services. This will help improve the group's ship management level and build an international, first-class, high-quality fleet.
