On August 29, CSSC Chengxi Shipyard, jointly signed the construction contract for four 50,000 dwt product tankers with China Shipbuilding Trading and Zhi Zhan Pte Ltd., a wholly-owned shipping company under Singapore shipowner Singfar Holdings Pte. Ltd.

Since the beginning of this year, CSSC Chengxi Shipyard has undertaken a total of more than 30 new shipbuilding projects, with self-developed ship types accounting for more than 60%. The contract amount and the proportion of self-developed ship types have reached a record high for the same period in history.
 
This ship type is a new generation of green intelligent 50,000 dwt product tanker independently developed by CSSC Chengxi Shipyard. It meets IMO Tier III emission requirements and EEDI Phase III.
