Hainan's Zero-carbon Terminal on the Go COSCO SHIPPING 2023-08-21 11:13

COSCO SHIPPING has been actively promoting the concept of zero-carbon green development. In the first half of 2022, Yangpu International Container Terminal witnessed an increase of 12% in its throughput. The terminal also provided shore power connection to 34 ships, or a total of 169,200 kwh of energy, resulting in a reduction of 54.48 tons of carbon emissions. Looking ahead, Yangpu International Container Terminal will be committed to building a modern logistics industrial park with zero-carbon emissions through the implementation of distributed gas stations and advanced energy-saving technologies, as well as integrating the concept of green development into all aspects of terminal production, operation, and project construction.
