Job Title: Marine Insurance Consultancy

This will be an exceptional opportunity to collaborate and work alongside a highly motivated and professional marine insurance consultancy team based in China. Key Responsibilities:

Key person for larger clients or complex accounts, ensure service levels are met or exceeds expectations.

Develops and implements strategic agenda and growth plan with Head of Marine. Drives sales and placement initiatives.

Takes accountability for strategic growth, develop and implement strategies to realize corporate opportunities.

Conducts research, evaluation and document trends. Understands and evaluate customer perspectives, needs and requirements to identify growth opportunities.

Works with sales/industry/client executives to position the marine product line firmly into strategic and client discussions/plans.

Assists and oversight of marine placement activities and support with strategic and market discussions when appropriate.

Leads larger clients or complex accounts enquiries and address escalated issues to ensure best solutions are provided.

Conducts needs analysis and develops broking plans in response to client needs and gains client’s approval, in conjunction with the client and/or relevant stakeholder.

Negotiates and evaluates quotes from the carrier and presents a recommendation to client. Communicates the broking plan to clients, brokers and carriers, as appropriate.

Requirements:

3 to 5 years’ experience in marine insurance broking and/or reinsurance field.

Attained minimum Certificate in General Insurance (CGI) or equivalent.

Relevant specialty experience in Marine Hull, P&I, Cargo is preferred.
