On April 14, Wisdom Marine Group announced that it will order three 40,000 dwt Handysize bulk carriers at Onomichi Dockyard.

The new ships are expected to be delivered in 2026, with a cost of US$32 million each.

Up to now, Wisdom Marine's fleet operates 141 ships, and the fleet size will reach 158 after all new ships under construction are delivered.

Due to the bullish price of second-hand ships this year, Wisdom Marine also plans to sell more old ships and continue to optimize its fleet.
