Xiamen Port enjoys long-lasting boom China Daily 2022-12-16 09:57

Xiamen Port was listed among the top 10 maritime container ports with the best business environments in 2022 on Dec 9.

So far, Xiamen port has made the list for four consecutive years. In 2019 and 2021, Xiamen ranked first, and in 2021 and 2022, it received a four-star rating, which is the highest star rating for ports.

Xiamen Port continues to develop a better business environment. Last year, goods imported overseas required two to three days to arrive at factories in need due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, after applying effective measures, the period has been shortened to only half a day, which has effectively helped factories with business demands.

At the same time, Xiamen Port enjoys high-quality development thanks to its implementation of smart technology. As the first intelligent port that utilizes a 5G technology full-scenario application, Xiamen Port is empowered by cutting-edge technologies.

Furthermore, Xiamen port operates international logistics channels to five continents. In June, China's first cross-border e-commerce shipping express line officially opened, and as of the middle of November, the line had successfully operated 23 voyages.
