On December 7, China Yangtze Shipping Group and Hubei Port signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Wuhan. China Yangtze Shipping Group is a company of China Merchants Group serving the development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt and the largest inland shipping central enterprise in China. Hubei Port is a leading enterprise in the shipping centers in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River, serving the construction of the Yangtze River Economic Belt and promoting regional economic development. The two sides will jointly develop green, low-carbon and smart ships in the future.
 
Over the years, China Yangtze Shipping Group and Hubei Port have cooperated in container routes, ship design and construction, fuel supply, crew services, electric motor sales and use and capital cooperation.
