Information Fusion Centre (IFC) releases IFC bridge card Standard Club 2022-07-25 09:53

The Information Fusion Centre (IFC), a regional Maritime Security (MARSEC) centre hosted by the Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN), has recently released its IFC bridge card.

It provides a quick reference guide to ship master and crew, on IFC’s contact details and recommended measures for ships transiting in IFC’s Area of Interest (AOI).

Members are recommended to provide this to their respective vessels and place it on the ship’s bridge for quick reference.

The IFC strongly encourages ships operating in the Voluntary Community Reporting (VCR) Area to report MARSEC incidents or anomalous behaviours out at sea.

About IFC: The Information Fusion Centre (IFC) with a team of more than 20 International Liaison Officers (ILOs) from navies/coast guards and more than 100 worldwide linkages, is a 24/7 regional Maritime Security (MARSEC) centre which aims to facilitate information sharing and collaboration between its partners.

IFC has been at the forefront of providing actionable information to cue responses by regional and international navies, coast guards and other maritime agencies to deal with the full range of MARSEC threats and incidents.
