On July 4, the Ministry of Transport of China, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, the National Health Commission of China, the General Administration of Customs of China, and the National Immigration Administration of China issued a notice on adjusting the prevention and control of the epidemic on ships transferring from international to Domestic routes.
Adjust the berthing isolation time of international vessels at ports of entry. The time of berthing and isolation at ports of entry for international vessels to switch to domestic routes will be adjusted from 14 days after arrival at ports of entry to 7 days after arrival.
Optimize nucleic acid detection frequency and method. The frequency and method of nucleic acid testing for all crew members of international vessels that plan to transfer to domestic routes at ports of entry shall be adjusted to "five nucleic acid tests shall be conducted within seven days after arrival at ports of entry, of which the customs shall conduct nucleic acid testing on the first day. On the second, third, fifth and seventh days, nucleic acid testing shall be conducted by the testing units with a clear joint prevention and control mechanism at the location of the port of entry, and the cost required may be borne by the ship, and oral and pharyngeal swabs shall be collected ".
Adjust the health monitoring time of seafarers of international vessels after going through the formalities. The shipping company that owns the ship shall continue to monitor the health of all crew members from 14 days to 3 days after the ship goes through the formalities, and nucleic acid tests (oral and pharyngeal swabs) shall be conducted on the third day.
