On June 7, China's first domestically-made 100-ton unmanned ship successfully completed its first autonomous sea trial in Zhoushan waters.
It marks a new breakthrough in the autonomous navigation and intelligent tank technology of China's unmanned ships.
The unmanned ship adopts a trimaran design with a total length of more than 40 meters, a displacement of about 200 tons, and a maximum speed of more than 20 knots.
Many technologies of the ship are the first in China, and the overall technology of the platform has reached the world's leading level.
After 3 hours of data collection, the sea trial ended successfully and achieved the expected goal.
In the next step, the ship will also conduct collision avoidance tests to further test its performance.
