On March 29, China Shipbuilding Trading and Dalian Shipbuilding Industry jointly signed a new shipbuilding contract for 10 65,000 DWT bulk carriers with CITIC Financial Leasing.

The ship has a total length of about 209.95m, a width of 34.8m, a depth of 18.0m, a design draft of 11.70m. The energy efficiency index is 25% lower than the domestic baseline.

This signing is the first time that CITIC Financial Leasing has ordered new ships in the mode of operating chartering, which fully reflects its trust in CSTC and DSIC, and consolidates the market share of DSIC in the field of bulk carrier construction.
