On February 23, Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Corporation Limited(DSIC), subsidiary of China State Shipbuilding Corporation, signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Luoyang Ship Material Research Institute. Yang Zhizhong and Zheng Wei, leaders of DSIC, Wang Qihong and Xu Jian, director and deputy director of Luoyang Ship Material Research Institute, and heads of relevant departments of both sides attended the signing ceremony. Zheng Wei and Xu Jian signed the agreement on behalf of both sides respectively.
 

According to the agreement, the two sides will rely on respective advantages to jointly carry out cooperation in design, development and service of new materials, new technologies and new equipment in the fields of shipbuilding, marine engineering and clean energy, so as to gradually enhance respective core competitiveness.
 

The two sides will take the signing of this strategic cooperation agreement as an opportunity to give full play to respective advantages through close cooperation, realize resource sharing and complementary advantages, and promote the balanced development of short-term results and medium and long-term strategic goals through efficient, pragmatic and innovative cooperation modes, so as to achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.
