On February 15, the first 110,000 DWT Aframax dual-fuel product tanker built by New Times Shipbuilding for Singapore Eastern Pacific Shipping was officially delivered.
The ship not only has independent intellectual property rights, but also is the first Aframax dual-fuel product tanker in China.
According to reports, this type of ship has a total length of 249.9 meters, a width of 44 meters, a depth of 21.3 meters, a design draft of 13.5 meters, and is classified into ABS. A total of 2 ships of this type have been built, and the second is expected to be delivered in early March this year.
In the LNG fuel mode, the carbon dioxide emissions of this type of ship will be reduced by about 20%, and meet the latest emission standards of IMO. Under the same speed conditions, the fuel consumption of the same type of products can be saved by 8%.
At present, New Times Shipbuilding has a total of 25 orders for dual-fuel power series ships, and a 210,000 DWT Newcastlemax dual-fuel bulk carrier is also under construction.
