DSIC delivers the 115,000DWT tanker to Maersk Tankers xinde marine news Sarah Yu 2021-10-29 16:54


On October 28, "MAERSK SONIA", the 115,000DWT crude/ product carrier built by Dalian Shipbuilding Industry for Maersk Tankers successfully signed and delivered.
 
The ship has excellent fuel-saving performance and cargo carrying performance. It is a new generation of crude/ product tanker independently designed, developed and built by DSIC.
 
The ship has a total length of 250.00m, a width of 44.00m, a depth of 21.90m, a design draft of 13.75m, a structural draft of 15.35m and a carrying capacity of 115,000DWT.

The ship has excellent machine and propeller matching design, and is equipped with energy-saving guide wheels, which fully improves the efficiency of the propulsion system.
 
During the trial voyage, DSIC overcame the displacement limit of deep well pump of cargo oil system and completed all trial voyage test projects within 6 days, reaching the advanced level of the industry.
