On September 3, the world's first LNG dual fuel VLCC 91 built by Dalian Shipbuilding Industry for COSCO SHIPPING Energy Transportation successfully completed the underwater construction and started its sea trial.
 
The ship is LNG powered, supplemented by fuel oil, with a WinGD low-pressure dual fuel engine propulsion system, dual fuel generators and dual fuel boilers.

The main engine and generator are equipped with LPSCR, and the carbon dioxide emission reduction meets the requirements of EEDI PHASE III and NOx Tier III requirements of nitrogen oxide emissions.

In addition, it satisfies the HCSR harmonized common structure specification, and provides a list of hazardous substances in accordance with EU regulations, and meets the requirements of CCS's smart energy efficiency symbol i-Ship(E).
