On July 9, Jinhui Holdings Company issued an announcement that Jinan Marine Inc. acquired a ship from BELFRI AS for 15.18 million US dollars (approximately 98.28 million yuan). Jinan Marine is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Jinhui Shipping.
The above-mentioned ship is a 55,900 dwt handymax bulk carrier, which was built in 2007.
The ship will be delivered by BELFRI AS to Jinan Marine Inc from September 15, 2021 to October 20, 2021.
The ship is a handymax bulk carrier equipped with grabs and is used to carry dry bulk commodities. Jinhui believes that the purchase price of the ship is very attractive, and it is expected that the ship will bring a stable source of income to the group.
Jinhui currently owns 20 bulk carriers, including two super-Panamax ships and 18 handymax ships. After the completion of the acquisition of the ship, the total carrying capacity will increase by 55,866 metric tons to 1,300,439 metric tons.
