CSSC has completed and delivered 102 ships with 9.172 million dwt, which are 52.8% and 57.3% of the annual plan, respectively. The number of completed ships and deadweight tonnage increased by 18.6% and 19.3% year-on-year respectively. This is the report of CSSC's marine business in the first half of this year.

It is particularly worth mentioning that a total of 232 new ship orders were received for 18.386 million dwt, a year-on-year increase of 2.9 times. The market share ranked first in the world, and the annual order plan was completed ahead of schedule.

Since the beginning of this year, the global shipbuilding and offshore industry market has bottomed out and rebounded, and there has been a prosperous scene not seen in ten years. Orders have been concentrated and heavy, the BDI index has exceeded 3,000 points, and the price of container freight has been rising. Global shipping companies share the benefits of the industry's "bull market" and scramble for orders.

China State Shipbuilding Corporation strengthens top-level coordination and control, adheres to the general keynote of putting operation in the first place, scientifically plans to accept orders, and takes multiple measures to open up the market.

CSSC clarified the focus of production and operation in the second half of the year, so as to complete the production and operation goals and tasks of CSSC in 2021 and promote the high-quality development of the ship and ocean business.
